He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Atkins and Loretta Atkins (Banet); and his brother Marvin Dean Atkins. He is survived by: his sister Brenda Jones (Michael); his children, Jeffery Atkins (Lee Ann), Scott Atkins (Erin), Tamara Lee Atkins and Christopher Atkins; his grandchildren, Phillip, Devin, Jenna, Simon, Elston, Kaylee, Tyla, Kyle, Sydney, Chance, Dylan and Ania; and his great grandchild Luna.

The family requests that contributions in Neal's memory be made to St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church.
