He was predeceased by: his parents, Susie Catherine Johnson (Thomas) and Ernest Bales Johnson; and his siblings, James Ernest Johnson, Elmer Thomas Johnson, Edward Allen "Ed" Johnson and Doris Ann Dixon.
He is survived by: his sister June Bolden of Cincinnati, OH; and his nieces and nephews, Jill Kempf, Sue Franklin (Darrell), Vicki Johnson, Eddie Johnson, Ernie Johnson (Brenda), Tom Bolden (Lisa) and Dan Bolden (Kathy).
