He was predeceased by: his parents, Arch Griffin and Mary Ann Taylor Griffin; his wife Rhoda Griffin; and his son Daniel Griffin. He is survived by: his son Douglas Griffin (Pamela); his grandchildren, Wendy Layton, Jim of Westport, IN, Jessica Bruns, Christopher of Clarksville, TN, Rachel Seal and Gregory of Florence, IN; and his great grandchildren, Luke May, Teara of Westport, IN, Madelynn Bruns of Clarksville, TN, Kensley Bruns of Clarksville, TN and Henry Bruns of Clarksville, TN. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home (301 E Main St, Hazard, KY 41701-1922). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
