He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Edwards (Clarke) and Arthur "Glenn" Edwards; his stepmother Ruby McMackin (Elston); and his siblings, Faye Edwards, Ronald C. "Ron" and Bobby Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Lynn Edwards (Baatz) of Florence, IN; his daughters, Tonya Lynn Edwards of Carrollton, KY, Pamela Sue Tatman (Jerry) of Kent, IN, Cathy Jo Edwards of Carrollton, KY, Mary Elizabeth Bruns (Matt) of Bennington, IN and Tiffany Renee Majors (Thomas) of Vevay, IN; his grandchildren, Brittany, Anthony, Lacey, Courtney, Layla, Jadelyn, Rilynn, Jaden, Thomas, Maleah and Aubree; his brothers, Harold Edwards of Fairview, Marvin Edwards of Fairview and Herbert Edwards (Barbara) of Dillsboro, IN; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Edwards-Hansen of Aberdeen, IN and June Edwards of East Enterprise, IN. He is also survived by his several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
