He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Daniel and Lottie Quinn Seward; his wife Rosalee Bowman; and his children, Tom and Rita.
He is survived by: his daughter Nancy; and his son-in-law Gilbert Gordon of Lafayette. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
