She was predeceased by: her parents, Keal Burdoine and Gresta Burdoine (Smith); and her siblings, Lonnie Allen and Arlene Weirach. She is survived by: her spouse Frederick Grotrian; her sons, David Grotrian (Tracy) of Champaign and Brian Grotrian of Rochester; her stepdaughter Sharisse Cabrera (Charles) of Elk Grove, CA; her grandchildren, Kiera and Piper Grotrian; and her stepgrandchild Christen Lewitzky.
