With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LaVerne Alta Von Ahrens of Flora, Indiana, who passed away on February 28, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Wiles and Zelda Wiles (Clawson); her brothers, Wilber, Ivan, Burl, Morris, Huey and John Wiles; and her stepgrandson Jake Calvin.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Von Ahrens; her daughters, Karla Calvin (Dan) of Flora and Karen Klinger (Steve) of Avilla; her grandchildren, Ashley Klinger, Brittany Klinger and Tyler Klinger; her stepgrandson Luke Calvin (Jennifer); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Dakota Riley, Evan Calvin and Emmett Calvin; her great grandchildren, Riley, Adam, Thomas, Emma, Natalie and Aiden; and her sisters-in-law, Nadine and Donna Wiles. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
