It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Johnson of Flora, Indiana, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Michael D. Johnson; his grandson Matthew Phillippo; his son-in-law Todd M. Shaffer; his siblings, Paul S. Johnson, Harold C. Johnson, Emma Jane Shriver and Carol Brewster; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Shriver.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen Ann Reilly of Flora; his children, Cheryl A. Shaffer of Flora, David Clark Johnson (Linda Lou), Philip Lee Johnson and Todd Alan Johnson (Jeanna) of Flora; his brother Robert Dean Johnson (Sandra) of Flora; his siblings-in-law, Waneta Johnson, Laney Johnson of St. Charles Missouri and Ed Brewster of Burlington; his friend Joan Ross of Delphi; and his grandchildren, Chad Shaffer (Jessica), Tori Shaffer, Chelsie Pendleton (Ryan), Austin Johnson (Ashley), Alex Johnson (Brandi), Leslie Wright (Shawn), Riley Johnson, Seth Johnson, Corey Johnson (Amanda) and Mercedes Patton (Troy). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and three step great grandchildren.
