It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas J. Gartland (Fishers, Indiana), born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on July 15, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis X. Gartland, Jr. and Constance Carter Gartland. He is survived by: his daughters, Molly Gartland and Ashley Medlock (Chris); the mother of his children Tina Mills Gartland; his grandchildren, Declan Medlock and Sloane Medlock; and his siblings, Michael Gartland (Victoria), Francis, Patrick Gartland (Janice), Joseph Gartland (Melissa) and Mary Vielee (Ron).
Thom fought hard against Parkinson's disease and Lewy body dementia, defying odds in his later years and was an active member of the Rock Steady Boxing and Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center communities.
