With solemn reverence, we commemorate Sonya P Kingma of Fishers, Indiana, whose life came to an end on April 8, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Wognum and Elizabeth Wognum (Sikma); her husband Roy Kingma; her daughter Karen; and her brother Don.
She is survived by: her children, Deb Gouwens (Roy), Phillip Kingma (Wenda) and Paul Kingma (Melisssa); her grandchildren, Luke, Kara, Leah Gouwens, Erin Shaver (Eason), Courtney Wolcott (Perry), Lindsey, Brandon Kingma, Ashlynn Huntwork, Benjamin and Elle Kingma; her great grandchild Samuel Shaver; and her siblings, John Wognum (Michelle), Susan Silverstein (Michael) and Kathleen Schoonveld (Rob). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Christian Reformed Church (1633 Halleck St, De Motte, IN 46310). A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holland Cemetery (1200 N 950 W, De Motte, IN 46310).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse or Bible League International.
