He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Marie Gligora-Smith; his parents, Allen Smith and Carol Smith; and his brothers, Jonathan and Phillip Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Shaun Smith (Gabriel), Michael Smith (Danette Harmon) and Jason Smith (Tracy); and his siblings, Eric Smith (Ann), Sylvia Shepler (Bill), Louise Twigg (Dennis), Becky Vreeland (William) and Sarah Yoder (Mark).
