She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Prater Irwin and John P. Irwin; her parents-in-law, Dr. Arthur B. Richter and Lyda Mary Richter; and her siblings-in-law, Dr. Mary Alex Richter and Thomas R. Richter.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Arthur Richter; her children, Krista Ann Richter and James "Jamey" Irwin Richter (Stacie Hertenstein); her grandchildren, Nikhil Richter, Zoei Richter, Myles Hertenstein (Jessica), Taia Hertenstein Perkins (Holden) and Owen Hertenstein; her sisters-in-law, Kay Richter, Judy Dass (Al) and Marcia Richter; her nieces, Jennifer Richter, Lindsay Kookoothe (Chris) and Jessica Downs (Lucas); her great-niece Luna Richter; and her great-nephews, Henry Kookoothe, Milo Downs and Teddy Downs.
In lieu of flowers, the Richter Family has requested that donations may be made to the Julia Irwin Richter Educational Fund.
