She was predeceased by: her parents, Alden Maurice and Minola Mae Sylvester; her husband George Carter; and her sister Melva Tegge. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Everhart and Darla Misz (John, Jr.); her grandchildren, Whitney Sealls (Travis), Kiley Pattar (Guru) and Lily Misz; and her siblings, Sarah Madren (Bill), Nora Shaffer and Melvin Sylvester (Barbara). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
