He was predeceased by: his parents, John Capels and Jane Capels (Anderson). He is survived by: his wife Dana Capels (Klenotic); his children, Johnny Capels (Renee) and Candy Perry; his stepson Roy Caruthers (Diane); his grandchildren, Taylor, Sean, Chris, Corey and Matthias; and his brother William Capels.
