He was predeceased by: his parents, Vearl Ring and Ethel Ring (Krebs); and his sister Jeanne Hayden. He is survived by: his wife Penny Ring; his sons, Aaron Ring (Laura) and Colin Ring (Leah); and his grandchildren, James Vivian, Caleb and Abby.

“To whom it may concern, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I was googling James to find out more about his Corvette that he had bought in June of 1968. My search took me right to is obituary. My condolences again. I'm the 3rd owner of the vehicle. I bought it Sept. 5th, 2024, from a classic car dealer in Manchester, N.H. The last owner was Donald Yoder. I only know that because Donald entered it in a car show in 2008 in Munsy, Pennsylvania. I would love to chat my name is Chris 603-231-3616”
