He is survived by: his sons, Mike Bachman (Shannon) of Montana, Randy Bachman (Patti) of Illinois, Eric Bachman (Kyungae) of Tennessee and Rodney Bachman (Heather) of Missouri; his grandchildren, Kayla, Austin, Justin, Jamie, Nastassja, Tasjianna, Haleigh and Quinten; his great grandchild Auden; and his sisters, Elaine Newcomer (Carl) of Ohio, Judi Carter (Duane) of North Carolina and Carol Detweiler (Tim) of Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Mennonite Central Committee or White River Cheyenne Mennonite Church.
