It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Richards of Fishers, Indiana, born in Hancock, Michigan, who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Daavettila and Gertrude Koistila Daavettila; and her siblings, Judy Maki, Richard and William Daavettila.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Richards (Kathy) of Lebanon, Sarah Woodsmall (Greg) of Crawfordsville, Connie Nunan (Doug) of Kokomo and Jon Richards of Fishers; her sister Jana Chambers (Glen); her brother-in-law Eugene Maki; and her grandchildren, Megan, Laura, Shelby, Jami, Christopher, Taylor, Arryn and Matthew. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
