She was predeceased by: her parents, Farah and Haifa; and her brother Ibrahim. She is survived by: her children, Farah (Austin), Cameron (Yunuen) and Daniel; her granddaughter Mara; her siblings, George and Rose Marie (Lewis); her nephews, Abraham and Stephen; and her niece Sara.
