He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Carrie Bennett (Randy) of Fishers, IN, Brian Mattson of Bridgman, MI and Jeff Mattson of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Haley Horal (Kevin), Brad Bennett, Greg Bennett (Cora), Mark Mattson and Nicole Mattson; and also Bo Mattson (Joyce) of Morton, Illinois.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
