He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Albert (Rose Ann McClane) and Jean Carol Spesshardt; his wife Jean Carol; his brothers, Clarence "Clancy" McClane (Elaine) and Floyd McClane (Trudy); and his brother-in-law Charles Daub.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Jean McClane of Bristol, Kimberly Kay Dahlman (Jeff) of Goshen, Robert Patrick McClane (Angie) of Shipshewana and Ryan Lewis McClane (Alissa) of Goshen; his grandchildren, Nicole Klotz, Donny Klotz III, Dustin Robert Klotz, Rylee Jean Dahlman, Jaden Nicole McClane, Brielle Della Rose McClane, Ayla McClane, Andyn McClane, Mackenzie Swoape, Mattie Carlisle and Lain Carlisle; his great grandchildren, Fynley, Madden Jean and Thomson; and his siblings, Phil McClane (Leah), Jerry McClane (Cindy) and Patricia Daub.
