She was predeceased by: her son Michael E. Hurd; her sister Connie McCarty; and her stepparents, Elizabeth Young and Gabriel Sabau. She is survived by: her spouse Terry Wood Sr.; her daughter Christie of Michigan City; her stepchildren, Terry Wood Jr. of Kingsford Heights, Rodney Wood of Fish Lake, Tammy Cunningham (Mike) of Westville and Tina Fezy (John); and her granddaughter Felicity Lopez.
