He is survived by: his wife Shirley Demuth; his children, Christopher of Ferdinand, Michael Demuth of Ferdinand and Katie Gullquist (Paden) of Evansville; his granddaughters, Elliana, Leona and Dorothy Gullquist; his siblings, Pat Nordhoff of Ferdinand, Angie Gogel of Ferdinand, Charlie Demuth (Martha) of St. Meinrad and John Demuth of Ferdinand; his stepmother Dorothy Demuth of Ferdinand; his stepbrother Mike Edele (Glenda) of St. Henry; and his sister-in-law Paula Demuth.
