It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merrill L. Gehlhausen of Ferdinand, Indiana, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard and Katherine Gehlhausen (Zeller); his wife Lucille Gehlhausen; his son Fred Gehlhausen; and his siblings, Herman, Sherman, Melvin, Leander, Gerald Gehlhausen, Virginia Harter and Bernice Fischer.
He is survived by: his children, Stan Gehlhausen (Cindy) of Dale, Mike Gehlhausen (Linda) of Huntingburg, Suzi Jones (Harris) of Beaufort and Kathie Oser (Bob) of Holland; his daughter-in-law Cindy Gehlhausen of Huntingburg; and his sisters, Bonnie Emmert (Bob) and Sylvia Gehlhausen of Ferdinand. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
