With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie A. Dilger of Ferdinand, Indiana, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on July 9, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Bankford and Esther Bankford (Hulsman); her former husband Karl Dilger; her husband Andrew Gaesser; her sons, Larry Gaesser and David Gaesser; her stepdaughter Justine Schaefer; and her brother Leonard Blankford.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Gaesser (Elaine) of Corning, IA, Bob Gaesser (Ruth) of Dale, Cathy Nolen (Mark) of Indianapolis, Linda Droege (Gary) of Wadesville and Mary Fischer (Dan) of Ferdinand; her stepchildren, Chester Dilger (Lucy) of Ferdinand, Sam Dilger (Lou) of Mariah Hill, Roger Dilger of Mariah Hill, Andrea Wagner (Larry) of St. Anthony and Vicki Keller (John) of St. Henry; her daughter-in-law Mona Gaesser of Gentryville; and her sister Betty Nord of Chandler. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mariah Hill Quilting Club or Mary Help Of Christians Parish.
