He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jerome Sermersheim and Dorothy Bartley. He is survived by: his children, Scott Sermersheim (Tammy) of Ferdinand, Jennifer Sherman (Keith) of Ferdinand, Jill Sicard (Greg) of Ferdinand and Susan Sermersheim (Deb Lindsey) of Evansville; his brother Robert Sermersheim (Dolly) of Jasper; and also, Elizabeth Fuhs (Linus) of Jasper, Linda Rohleder (Wes) of Jasper, Rosemary Schnaus (Robert) of Ireland and Rita Werne (Donald) of Plantation. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
