We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2019, at the age of 89, Irene R. Wendholt (Ferdinand, Indiana), born in Saint Meinrad, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Vaal and Maria Matilda Vaal (Werne); her great grandchild Everett Persohn; and her siblings, Mildred Leggett (Hagedorn), Alvin and Eugene Vaal.

She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Wendholt; her sons, Gary Wendholt (Geri) of Ferdinand, Rick Wendholt (Sue) of Ferdinand and Sam Wendholt of Indianapolis; and her brother Edgar Vaal of Ferdinand.
