He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Buechler and Minnie Buechler (Schum); his siblings, Herbert Buechler, Alma Kaelin, Marcella Schipp and Emma Wilmes; and his granddaughter Kelley Buechler.
He is survived by: his former wife Bernice Hartung; his wife Bernice Buechler of Ferdinand; his children, Larry Buechler (Kim), Danny Buechler (Brenda), Georgia Rahman (Alan) of Ferdinand, Paula Demuth (Rick) of Ferdinand and Gloria Rahman (Edwin) of Ferdinand; and his sister Henrietta Buechler of Jasper. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
