With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Schaefer of Ferdinand, Indiana, born in Saint Meinrad, Indiana, who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul May and Martina May (Troesch); her husbands, Edgar Mullis Sr., C. Ray Peters and Kenneth Schaefer; her brother Bobby May; her siblings-in-law, Earl Huff, Fred Vitittow, Steve Brezinski, Kenny Ubelhor, Bill Hancock and Bernice Brossmer; and her son-in-law Vincent Dearing.
She is survived by: her children, Ed Mullis (Theresa) of Newburgh, Jeff Mullis of Anchorage, AK., Matt Schaefer (Cammie) of Nashville, TN., Lisa Myers (Wayne) of Evansville, Tina Dearing of Huntingburg and Natalie Franks (Chad) of Portage, IN.; and her siblings, Alfred May of Ferdinand, Sylvan May (Linda) of St. Croix, Suds May (Cathy) of Las Vegas, NV., Pat May (Donna) of Owensboro, Stella Vitittow, Eileen Brezinski of Ferdinand, Teresa Casper of Bristow and Mary Lasher (Charlie) of Bristow. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
