He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Oser and Verena Oser (Weyer); his wife Rita Mae; his grandson Chad Kippenbrock; his stepgreat-granddaughter Lilly; his brother Leroy Oser; and his siblings-in-law, Joanne Oser, Dorothy Oser and Ron Stenftenagel.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Oser (Susie) of Huntingburg, Tim Oser (Jenelle) of Huntingburg, Kathy Begle (Ronnie) of Mariah Hill and Cindy Kippenbrock (Kurt) of Huntingburg; and his siblings, Tom Oser (Joyce) of Hoover, AL, Shirley Daly of Lousiville, KY., Alice Stenftenagel of Jasper and Bernice Dorsam (Don) of Jasper. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
