It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ardella M. Lubbehusen of Ferdinand, Indiana, born in Jasper, Indiana, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Bockelman and Theresa Bockelman (Knust); her husband Cletus C. Lubbehusen; her son-in-law John Hopster; her siblings, Sylvester, Claude, Fred, Anton, Harold Bockelman, JoAnn Oeding and Dorothy Horney; and her half-sister Eleanor Sermersheim.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Hopster of Jasper, Larry Lubbehusen (Penny) of Pittsboro, Kenneth Lubbehusen (Doreen) of Gosse Creek, S. C., James Lubbehusen of St. Anthony, John Lubbehusen (Eileen) of Ferdinand and Kevin Lubbehusen (Sue) of Ferdinand; and her brothers-in-law, Jack Horney of Warsaw, IN and Jerry Oeding of Jasper. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
