We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2019, at the age of 81, Alfred J. Hoffman (Ferdinand, Indiana), born in Celestine, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hoffman and Anna Hoffman (Mathies); his sister Leona Schlachter; and his brothers-in-law, Jerome Schlachter, Gervase Berg and Calvin Elkins.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Schaefer; his sons, Scott Hoffman (Jennifer) of Ferdinand and Jim Hoffman of Ferdinand; his sisters, Frieda Berg of Ferdinand and Jenny Elkins of Celestine; and his grandson Logan Hoffman.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Parish or Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center.
