She was predeceased by : her parents, L. Paul Carter and B. Edna Carter (Choate); and her siblings, Blanche Thompson, Margaret Hall, Joe, Bill and Donnie Carter.

She is survived by : her husband Greg McQueen of Farmland, IN; her daughters, Ellen Slama (Brett) of Carmel and Amanda Green (Tim) of Anderson; and her brother George Carter (Zeta) of New Castle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
