He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paul and Addie Hagler (Moore); his stepson Keith Johnson; and his siblings, Ruth Bohnke and Glen Hagler.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Hagler; his son Mark Hagler (Tammy Grimm); and his stepchildren, Pamela Johnson (Brett Harden), Nancy Johnson (Todd Kabrich) and Joseph Collins. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
