He is survived by : his wife Shannon Lynn Smith; his children, Dan O'Connel, Charles Smith of Davenport, IA, Alexander Smith of Springfield, IL, Matthew Smith, Shawn Smith, Tokyo, Zachary Smith, Phillip Smith, Julia Smith and Vivian Smith; his parents, Sherry Dobereiner and Donney Smith, Sr.; his grandmother Virginette Smith of Viola, IL; and his siblings, Gary Nickell, Dana Ferry (Brian), Samantha Sharp (Dan), Jessica Hornback (Raz) and Erin Cook (Caleb). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
