Anita Shaffer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anita Shaffer of Farmland, Indiana, who passed away on December 18, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto E. Oxley and Grace Oxley (Hawk); her husband Kennard Leon Shaffer; her siblings, Loren, Bob, Junior, Delores Brown, Mary Ellen Pinkerton and Naomi Heeter; and her grandson Alex Shaffer.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Eckhardt (Brett) of Daleville, IN, Mike Shaffer (Kim) of Farmland, IN, Laura Winningham of Indianapolis, IN, Marcia Bane of Indianapolis, IN and Zane; and her grandchildren, Adrienne LeMay, Kylie Eckhardt, Olivia Eckhardt, Ashley Eckhardt, Cody Eckhardt, Chelsea Eckhardt, Kent Shaffer (Terri), Andrea Stevenson (Bo), Daniel Shaffer (Stephanie), Mitchell Bane, Kaitlyn Winningham and Ashleigh Ray. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Due to concerns surrounding Covid-19, there will be a graveside service 11:00 a. m. Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Buena Vista Cemetery of Unionport, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to a food pantry of the donor's choice, in Anita's memory.
