He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Pirtle and Imogean Pirtle (Fleming); his wife Patricia Jane Kelly; his sons, Michael Kelly Pirtle and William Lee Pirtle; his great grandchild Jackson Alexander Pirtle; and his brothers, John Pirtle and Richard Pirtle.
He is survived by: his son David Pirtle; his grandchildren, Kelly, Michael, Teresa, Thomas, Caroline and Justin; his great grandchildren, Brianna, Olivia, Brant, Jennings and Myles; his great great grandchild Everly Mae; his sister Patty DelFabro; and his sister-in-law Stevie Pirtle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
