In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Marcille Owens Carpenter Weaver; his grandson Michael Dunlap; and his sister Doris Webster (John). He is survived by: his wife Etna "Jane" Carpenter (Wimmer); his stepbrothers, Billy Carpenter and Bobby Weaver; and also, Malinda Bricker (Jim), Kim Dunlap (Jay) and Scott Carpenter (Mellissa). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
