It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard I. Swaim of Fairmount, Indiana, born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on June 12, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Swaim and Blanche Swaim (Mart); his wife Charlene Leslie; and his sisters, Irene Couch and Pauline Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Swaim, Jeffery Swaim, Susan Howlette, Lisa Swaim, Julie Miller-Veach, Gladys Black (Michael), Juanita Susie Lamson and Kokomo Paul Estep (Debra); and his nephews, Don Wright (Judy) of Fairmount and Phil Wright (Sandy) of Fairmount. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grand-children and great-great-grandchildren.
