It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Davis Vest of Fairmount, Indiana, born in Harrisburg, Arkansas, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Rice and Ruth Rice (Sefers); her former husband Lewis H. Davis; her spouse Gene Vest; her son Gary Davis; and her siblings, Harold Rice, Bobby Rice and Betty Cole.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Starkey, Phillis Gallaway (Larry), Stan Davis (Debbie), Sharon Gallaway (Steve), Greg Davis and Shelia Slack; and her sister Brenda Rice (James). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
