He was predeceased by: his grandson Gabriel Abel. He is survived by: his parents, Herbert Gilmore and JoAnn Abel (Murnan); his children, Jason R. Abel (Erin) of Fairland and Stephanie Morris (Michael) of Fairland; his sister Dianna Cummings (Steve) of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Aidan Morris, Audrey Morris, Sydney Abel and Camden Abel; his nieces, Christa Cummings and Courtney Eddy; and his nephew Ryan Cummings.
