He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Johnson and Margert Grogan; and his brother Lawrence Johnson, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Johnson; his children, Amanda Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Amber Bernard and Jennifer Stowers; and his sister Bridgett Thrasher. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
