He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul K. Wallace and Florence Jean Wallace (Trinkle); his son Steve "Burt" Wallace; and his brother Dale Wallace. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Gatewood; his children, Kim Dillahay (Dave) of Columbus, Celsie Miller of Hope, Casey Miller of Hope, Amber Boyd of Louisville, Kentucky, Jeff Wallace (Pam) of Columbus, Cody Miller of Columbus, Greg Wallace (Carolyn) of Hope, Mike Wallace (Tracy) of Hope, Eric Wallace (Susan) of Hope, Tim Wallace of Hope, Kevin Wallace (Susan) of Fairland and Brad Boyd of North Vernon; and his siblings, Patricia May (Del) of South Bend and Stanley Wallace (Arline) of Lafayette. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Spina Bifida Association in honor of Izaiah Wallace through the funeral home.
