She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Durbin and Virginia Durbin (Turner); and her husband Richard "Dick" Esters. She is survived by: her children, Coreena "Corey" Esters (Ross P. Hughes) of Charlestown Indiana and Richard "Rich" Esters Jr. (Leanna) of Frankton; her siblings, John R. Durbin (Sharon) of Indianapolis, James L. Durbin (Carol) of Nevada, Les W. Durbin of Indianapolis, Alice Meyer (Terrance Elvania) of Shelbyville and Deanna Thurston (Charles) of Shelbyville; and her grandsons, Mathew Esters of Frankton and David Esters of Frankton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
