It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Ann Dunn of Fairland, Indiana, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Melissa may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her mother Janice Nash (Stewart); her son Grayson Ernest Dunn; her parents-in-law, Loren Dale Dunn and Peggy Ann Dunn; and her grandparents, Ernest Nash, Sr., Forrester and Lucy Stewart.
She is survived by: her father Ernest Nash (Michelle); her son Michael Jamieson Dunn; her brother Ralph David Cox; and her grandmother Elnora Deaton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Murphy-Parks Funeral Service (703 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176).
