He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Tannehill and Mary Jean Tannehill (Walker); his wife Laura Eloise Woodard; and his sister Adra Lee Heise. He is survived by: his adoptive father Mike Woitas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairland Grace Community Church.
