He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Alley Sr. and Nellie Alley (Vernon). He is survived by: his wife Martha Alley (Bunch); his children, Dan Alley (Nina) of Greenwood, USM and Valerie Prather (Rob) of Fairland; his grandchildren, Rachel Huffman, Rebecca Downing, Megan Monnier, Christopher Alley, Emily Alley, Andrew Alley, Gabriel Alley, Loreena Alley and Virginia Alley; his great grandchildren, Avery, Aidan, Alec, Asa, Amelia, Theodore John and Harrison; and his sisters, Dolly Parrot and Alberta Springer of Indianapolis.
