He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Wampler and Bertha Wampler (Robinette); his wife Geneva L. Wampler (Ward); and his siblings, Sidney, Frank, Carlos and Phyllis.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Wampler (Kathy) of Shelbyville and Randy Wampler (Sylvia) of Franklin; and his grandchildren, Amy Beaver (Chad), Kyle Wampler (Sabrina) and Kristin Mohr (Joe). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
