He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Meyer and Ethel Meyer (Gunter); his siblings, Betty Lou Rohlfing (John) and Glenn Ray Meyer; and his granddaughter Jina Lea Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Shari Mae Vernon; and his children, Robert Meyer (Pam), Christie Miller-Leaser (Mark), James Meyer (Jan), Kimberlie Gann-Mobley and Cathie Faust (Charlie). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren with one on the way and 1 great great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Life United Methodist Shelter House Fund in memory of Donald G. Meyer.
