Carl Edward Gladson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Edward Gladson of Fairland, Indiana, born in Benham, Kentucky, who passed away on August 25, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gladson and Sarah Gladson (Maggard); his spouse Samme Cope; his daughter Rebecca G. Gladson-Wade; and his siblings, Georgia Cole-Monbeck, Ruth Stevens, Mildred Mackey, Robert Gladson and Carrol Gladson.
He is survived by: his daughter Carla Caton (Isaac) of Lexington; his granddaughters, Kayela Caton and Sarah Caton; his sister Madge Hensley of Corbin, Kentucky; and his sister-in-law Sandra Delk of Fairland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fairland Grace Community Church (205 W Washington St, Fairland, IN 46126). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
