He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gray and Pauline Blakeman Gray; his stepparents, John Patton of Sullivan, IN and Marge Gray of California; his siblings, James Franklin of Edinburg, IN, Freda Bowen of Columbus, IN and Sally Patton of Columbus, IN; and his son-in-law Rick Usrey.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Ruth Holmes Gray; his children, Sara Usrey of Merom, IN, Mark Gray (Tina) of Fairbanks, IN and Janet Troup (Steve LeJeune) of Alamo, IN; his half-sister Tina Smithheart (Allen) of Folsom, CA; and his stepbrother Bill Patton of Columbus, IN. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
